A few days ago, I met up with some ex-students from class of 2014 who are awaiting their universities to start, for coffee. It was really heartwarming to see them, a couple of them are teaching tuitions, interning in companies or SAF. I am very glad to be part of their life and flattered that they still call me “sir” even I still do not teach them anymore.

One of them started math tuition hating it and is now getting ready to study Math in NUS. I don’t know if I should be glad that I impacted her to follow my footsteps or not. 😀 They even asked me for advise like applications for halls and what course. It is really exciting and definitely let me reminisce about the past.

Recalling, how they were so panicky for A-levels and then results days, they have now found comfort in the courses they are enrolled in and are glad. I hope that students taking the upcoming A-levels will not lose faith in themselves. You can do this!
